I still need to get this really up and running, but potofsoup has this masterpost geared towards tumblr users now heading to dreamwidth. Its really been helping me get back into this style of site. I specifically want to call attention to part 4, cause it deals with ideas for like/reblog replacements.

This post has a lot of helpful posts on using dw.

Clicking through a few random blogs I found some really great dw layouts that remind me of tumblr layouts. it was a Stucky blog. trust Stuckys to be up and running

and i made an icon! technically two, but this one i really like how it turned out
